What counts as a seat?

One person who signs in to Bricklark — an owner, an office admin, or a crew member using the mobile app. Your clients are not seats: they open a portal link to approve a quote or pay an invoice and are never billed for. Subcontractors you keep as records rather than logins are not seats either.

What happens when the free trial ends?

Accepted Answer

Nothing is deleted and nothing is charged automatically. The Growth trial runs 14 days; at the end you either add a card to continue, or the account drops back to the Starter limits with all your jobs, quotes and invoices still there and still readable.

Question 3

Do I need a card to start?

Accepted Answer

No. Starter is free forever and the Growth trial begins without any payment details. We ask for a card at the point you decide to keep Growth, not before.

Question 4

How do I cancel?

Accepted Answer

From billing settings, in your own account, without emailing anyone. There is no contract and no notice period. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and the account then reverts to Starter rather than closing.

Can I get my data out?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Jobs, clients, quotes, invoices and timesheets export as spreadsheets whenever you like, on every plan including the free one. If you have connected Google Drive, your job photos and documents are already filed in your own Drive as they are created.

Will you help me move off my spreadsheets?

Growth includes guided setup: send us the sheet you keep your clients and open jobs in and we will get it in for you. Enterprise gets a dedicated onboarding contact who works through the rollout with your office staff.

Is tax included in these prices?

Accepted Answer

Prices are shown before tax. Sales tax or VAT is calculated at checkout from your billing address and shown on the invoice, so what you see on the card statement matches what your accountant files.

What happens if I change plan or add someone mid-month?

Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated, so adding a crew member in week three costs a week three amount. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period, so you never lose paid-for time. Switching monthly to annual applies the annual rate from the next renewal.

Are there setup or per-transaction fees from Bricklark?

Accepted Answer

No setup fee, no per-job fee and no cut of your invoices. Payments run through your own Stripe account, so the only transaction cost is Stripe’s own processing rate, charged by Stripe and paid out to your bank.

What if my crew size changes with the season?

Seats are adjustable month to month on the monthly plan, which is why a lot of seasonal trades stay monthly through the winter and move to annual in spring. On annual billing you can add seats at any time and they prorate to your renewal date.
